Just out of curiosity what crops do you guys grow under irrigation?

Also, how much does it cost to set up an irrigation pivot?

Potatoes,Sugar Beets,Beans, Seed Canola,Alfalfa/Timothy, all cereals, onions, carrots, Mint,Dill,Hemp,Corn and Barely Silage,Flax, grass seed, almost anything you can think of.
As for cost of setting up pivot not a 100% sure but thinking you would be looking at around $200 thousand now but could be wrong last pivot I bought was just under $50.

How much yield does a cereal crop increase with irrigation? The land rental is 6 to 10 times more than what I am used to hearing. I' just curious how a cereal crop makes money at that rental rate?

Even the cost of installing irrigation must pay itself off fairly quickly. Good return there I would think.
