Flats fishing - Dominican Republic

So my son and his fiance are going to get hitched either next fall or in the spring the following year, no actual dates yet. They are looking at the beach wedding thing in the Dominican and I am looking at a good reason to go flats fishing, but not during the wedding ceremony (but yah never know).

As they haven't booked anything yet, any suggestions where they should be looking at, near to good flats fishing?. It may be that the men guests will do a bit of male bonding and hire an off-shore charter for a day as well. Again any suggestions much appreciated.

Have to be Domincan? 'cause I can give you a scouting report on Mexican flats fishing in a couple weeks. Can hardly wait.

Unfortunately, not my call. They have been looking mainly at the Dominican, although they did consider Mexico as an option, as they were at the Mayan Riviera last year and enjoyed it.
I think his fiance is set on the Dominican though and he is leaning the same way.
