Tonight I had gadwall and shoveler breast stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeños wrapped with bacon slow cooked on the charcoal side of the BBQ.
Tastes better than it sounds.
And leftover potato and ham soup with fresh cornbread.
Oh yeh a salad also.

Chicken hearts, fried with onions, garlic, mushrooms, and bhut jolokia pepper sauce; then dumped on top of a bowl of rice. Excellent.

Teriyaki chicken breast quick & easy fried in the pan with sweet chilli sauce & soy sauce served with spaghetti & meat sauce on the side. Fresh rhubarb pie from the garden for desert!

The pie was a photogenic work of art, but I was more interested in eating it than showcasing it haha.

Default Whats for Breakfast- Ham Dogs

I was overhauling my hams this morning and figured I would fry up some of the trim pieces.

So I fried up some Homemade Ham with some Angus Hot Dogs and had them in a toasted bun with melted smoked cheddar.

Whats for breakfast at your house?

well got my first sask antlerless elk back from the butcher today
so I put the meat in the freezer except 2 Tbone steaks
went over to the local growly store bought some huge mushrooms
and cream chease
and king crab legs
mushrooms and onions for the steak
proceeded to make some crab and chease stuffed mushrooms
baked spuds
asparagus
and Caesar salad
Arizona ice tea
set the table and called the wife up from her quilting room
gotta say I'm thinking I made some browny points.
I even washed the dishes

Today it's venison sauce spaghetti .

Yesterday I made a dinner featuring fresh venison heart - 2 different recipes, one breaded and pan fried in butter, the other 'chunked' and marinated in a simple marinade, then cooked in a frying pan. Both were delicious - and sooooo tender!
Along with that I prepared potatoes and made a stir fry with various vegetables.
