Default Police Lake near Cardston

How is the fishing out at police lake. What are the best methods, and flies to use?

Good for the most part, even a small stream guy like me could catch a couple dozen in a day. Chronies, red marabou micro leaches and boatman patterns actively fished or under an indicator

Lee....

Spent a week on the lake a week ago. Warm sunny days wound up the swimmers and we had 3 days of +50 fish. Less sunny days dropped the numbers considerably to <> 30 or so. Swimmers & leeches worked fine. Boatman should start soon.
Note:backswimmers are # 10>12 whereas boatman are sized 16>20.
Between the three of use were caught <> 700 trout of which perhaps 5% were greater than 20". My personal best was 21 1/2".
Lots of people doing equally as well.
There were 10>20 boats on the lake each day.
Campground is quiet and clean.

Don

Not a one if my better days there, got on the water about 9 landed 2 back to back , about 16 inches, wind was bad, nothing really looking up all day, had a couple more hits and that was it, there were about a dozen guys there also with about the same results, dont know if the low pressure or just the day, still nice to throw a line for sure.
