Default Last week's Rainbow and Cutties ;)

My brother and I headed out west for the day of quading and fishing. Caught over 30 Rainbow between the two of us from AM to NOON then spent the last half of the day enjoying the mountain views from the quad. It was incredable fishing! Havent seen anyting like if for a LONG LONG time. The smallest was between 12-14" and the largest must have been between 20-22". What a great day, two brothers hanging out in the winderness enjoying the beauting weather. Can't ask for much more. Heres a few pics of the beautiful fishing. Hope you enjoy. Wish we would have taken more photos!

Hopefully this doesnt come accross as being negative. But those are not rainbows. Those are cutthroat trout. And some very nice ones at that! Good job.

I've been fly fishing for a little over 20 years and I still couldn't tell you what the name of the flies were. I know what works and what doesn't in different waters, times of year, ect. But I've never really spent much time learning the names of them. Show me a fly and I can tell you what areas and fish I've hit it with. It's funny you brought this up though. When my brother and I were out fishing he even knew not to ask me what fly I was using (were both the same that way). When he seen me hammer the fist one he literally had to cross the other side of the river just to come over and look at the end of my line. Asking me would have just confused us both!
