Coyotes eat choke cherries? Moose, or Yogi? 6 mi west of bowden.

Both bears and coyotes eat chokecherries. Should have put your boot in the pic for size perspective. Sort of looks like either animal's scat but I would guess a coyote pinched that loaf.

Go find the nearest chokecherry bushes and see if there are any tracks. A bear will disturb the chokecherry bushes more than a coyote too.

Mountain View county has a bear activity report that I guess is updated as they see them. Doesn't mention any sightings west of Bowden. Yet. Bookmark the page.

The dutch clover heads, in the pic, put diameter at more than 1".
