Default Charles Niedermayer Knives?

Hello all,

I was recently gifted (passed down) a knife made by Charles Niedermayer and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these knives?
It’s very simple but seems very well made.

I've never handled one personally but I hear they are excellent quality. The simple knives tend to be the best users.

Thumbs up Charlie

I have only me this fine gentleman once. He is a very old man in Manitoba. The chap is brilliant and does everything of the highest quality including decoys and wood carvings of birds etc.

I have a couple of his knives including one which is Damascus and mastodon ivory for the handle. Beyond freakin' cool!!!

Yeah. He’s currently in Pine Falls-Powerview.
From what my dad tells me he is self taught.
He Used to be a Power Engineer in the paper mill if I remember correctly.
My dad has one as well. Beautiful beaver tail sheath.
Mine looks more like the workhorse and dads is almost more art than knife.

Do not cut yourself as they are made from phenomenal steel. My buddies all have them and are very happy with them. Skin a moose or an elk and they are as sharp as when you started.
I would have bought one but I loss knives and reward cards at an alarming rate and didn't want to be ****ed at myself for losing a 600$ knife.
