Interesting opportunity for someone
So I am coming down to AB in July. As you may know I race dogs. I have a few that need a new home. They are 2 male lead dogs...good gee haw leader, very steady, nice dogs just a wee bit slow for what I am doing...2 team dogs. A little older, real great dogs, 1 has run the iditarod 3 times, just getting a little long in the tooth for me but still have a few good years in them, 3 pups, all have been in harness and done well but we have 14 pups this year and some gotta go.
I would give these dogs to someone interested in mushing or skijouring or just looking for a nice dog, great starter package and a great recreational team or starting race team. 3 of the dogs have also had packs on.
If some one took the dogs i would give a good deal on a sled if they needed one. I could also spend a while showing them how to build gang lines and tugs and how to handle sled dogs as well as a deal on some used harness if they need.
I am coming down from whitehorse to rocky anyway so could bring the dogs for free no problem. Only important thing is the dogs go to a great home as they are great dogs.

In Whitehorse their are tonnes of sled dogs and no people so it is really hard to find homes for sled dogs.
