In the local bank, maybe.

Unfortunately dredging is not allowed in Alberta, if you get caught using a suction dredge like on the TV show Bering Sea gold your going to get in big trouble
I hope you'll didn't spend to much time and money on a homemade dredge because you can't use it here
You can gold pan for free, no license required
If you want to use a recreational sluice you have to feed it by hand and need a mining license from alberta environment
If you get over one ounce on crown land you are supposed to give 10% to the Alberta government as royalily
Alberta gold is to small for a metal detector

alberta gold 2
The dredge is probably more like a syphone tube to suck the dirt in between cracks. and the dredge can opperate with river water no pump needed you just dig a path through the gravel on the side of the river. Everything can be caried on my back, thew both have shoulder staps.

Nayda Hallet wrote about a galena cliff in the upper Old Man, that vanished in a land slide. Galena is a lead ore, often associated with silver. Maybe there's hope.

The first question is the important one. Has anyone found gold by Pincher Creek AB., or Coleman AB. I would like you know that I appreciate the feedback I have received.

Nearly all the rivers and creeks have gold, it's just a matter of whether or not there's enough to be worth the time spent looking for it.

South Saskatchewan River has a little bit. Better results in central Alberta.
Best bet is to take a pan and shovel with you and test everywhere you can access. Half the fun is just getting out there and exploring!

This is the size of Gold you will be looking for. No nuggets, its like fine ground pepper size. That's why they call it "Flour Gold".
