Default he ate the clam!

so yee-haw and i tried out a new lake today. got there around noon and proceeded to cruise around trying out different spots and exploring the lake. it was a little breezy and fishing was slow till around 4. we caught some jack and wallies and i even hooked a clam. I would have posted pic. of clam but YH opened it up and i thought he was going use for bait but instead he ate it raw! (yuck)
Just after 4 we pulled into a bay and it was dynamite. yee-haw got a double header of big chunky wallies, and within 20 min. i got 2 double headers (2 jack then jack/wallie combo). yee haw credits his sask. flying squirrel hat for our good luck.
In all we landed over 40 fish, but i have never seen such healthy, chunky wallies, and they were a beautifull golden brown, unlike the white and dark grey i'm used to.

Looks like the North end of that little gem of a lake .......

Did they grade the boat launch and take out the giant lumps?

SmittyRocks and I went out there a month or so ago and the launch was pretty silly.

the launch is very shallow. had to back my 150 (which sits pretty high) back till front bumper 15 feet from shoreline.
