Yes, I'll re-boot the Photo Bucket account later this winter.
The OHV with Quad tracks is alot fun. Lots of riding along the Eastern Slopes of Alberta.
The generators are working double over time, its -30 in our area. Burrrrr.
Looks like these units will be running all day as we prep things for the new year celebrations.
A few stops here and there to visit with family and friends.
At least the vehicles will be warm.
Our family is visiting with our Pops on this Cold December day.
Dad is one tuff fellow, he took on the hard ships of many a cold winter days feed cattle on a open air tractor with no cab. Leather gloves, warm coat,,, army surplus boots with no liners.
His hands are work harden, I suppose this is what keeps him going.
My Uncle Stan and Pops grew up on the cold Prairies of Southern Alberta. Back braking work every day feeding cattle with horse and sleigh. Getting the team hooked up was a job all in its own.
No trees to hide behind down there when the cold winds roled in.
Pop's said it was like having the air pass right threw you no matter how warm you dresses. Burrrrr.
Hard to believe that those were the good old days.
