Female Pioneer coupler was the culprit
This is the 1st problem I have ever had with this tractor, does anyone have any knowledge of hydraulics?
I swapped the tilt/raise to see if it was a circuit problem and the bucket would tilt but bucket still won't raise. I also noticed one of the pioneer fittings was pressured up and won't release. After tapping it to release the pressure and hooking up again the bucket lifted a foot and then stopped working again.
A buddy stopped by and said it looked like there was an anti shock check valve inline and it may be that.
Ideas?

Anti fall valve, typically placed to prevent hoists falling. Should be mounted on the cylinder port, or intregal to the cylinder end cap

Just a pioneer coupler.
I didn't even know they could fail!

John Deere better never hear of this, a hydraulic repair that got me up and going again, 2 couplers and a Litre of oil $60.00!!! 
I should note though, the Pioneer ends did NOT have the 48k Green paint on them, that alone adds about $1000 per repair.

Really common failure, especially with a lot of the "offshore" fittings. I was in the equipment business for 10 ears or so, saw this many times.
Including a new air drill that kept blowing up fan motors, racked up $58,000 in warranty bills, had engineers out from the factory and everything, yep turned out to be a Romanian coupler between the cart and the drill, removed the coupler and plumbed the hoses directly together and never another problem.

I used my pickup to clean it up, the 2032 is just for snowbank removal and scraping down to the pavement or cement. I was a little nervous yesterday my only backup if the truck fails is a Yamaha grizzly with a blade. Brrr .

So after cycling a couple times I went to move snow. Worked fine 3 cycles then locked up again. Back in the garage, switch circuits and I can run it non stop. Not cool.

So there should be a small box (not sure of proper terminology) that the joy stick and couplers direct fluid through, quite likely needs a rebuild or at least new O Rings put in, done mine a couple times......

I think the return line is airlocking. I almost bet the female coupler is buggered. When I take the lines off one has air under pressure the other has oil

check your bypass valve, sounds like the spring may be broken or the valve has backed out of its seat, or something has come in between the valve and the seat, preventing it from fully seating.

John Deere 2032r. Just a toy tractor, used for snow cleaning, yard work. It has never seen anything real difficult. I think I know what happened, i was pushing snow and while riding the cutting edge I overloaded the lift circuit causing the coupler spring to fail or lock up. The lift circuit was loaded very heavily the first time i tried to take out and reinstall, had to tap it with a hammer to release pressure. After that there was never fluid in the line, just air.
