Our whole gang will be out beating the bushes!
Fall camping / hunting is by far my favorite time of the year!
Warm fires, no bugs, decent day time temps all in all it can't be beat!

Got the teal blind brushed in and ready to go. Looks like we may get some canadas and specks on the water as well this year!

Having a hard time getting pumped up this year. My lab took sick and died earlier this year. I've had two hunting dogs at the same time for the past 20 some years and haven't gone into a season without one in that time. Seems kind of pointless.

Looking forward to one last outing with the dog after huns. At least he won't run the length of the field chasing them anymore.

Default Ducks

There are lots, Huns, I'm not sure because most of the crops are still up but they are coming down fast.

Have fun, and retrieve what you shoot.

I'm looking forward to getting out. A new pup who isn't much of a retriever but he just may turn out to be a good flushing dog for sur. He's not quite 11 months but I really am not expecting a lot. One day he's brilliant and wants to be there, the next he's lying down at my feet even when he see's the dummy go flying.

My son's first is this season. But I can't go out with him until Sept 10 if all works out, that's the day after his birthday.

There's Huns everywhere on my farm this year so I'll get after them after the archery deer is in the freezer
