This is not the way to go about taxing the sweet leaf.

I'm sure cops would love to turn the ganj into a revenue source.

Decriminalization is a scam. Legalize it.

I choose to live in Canada, You choose to live in Canada.
That means we choose to follow the laws of this land, wether we agree with them or not.
I do not like all the hunting fishing and firearms laws. I follow the rules, even speeding. If I want change I vote for it. I don't protest, whine, complain or the like. If the majority of Canadians wanted legal marijuana then the Green party or Marijuana would have been elected.

I have seen both sides and agree with both sides of this argument. The law is the law, get elected to change it. As for Uraguay, good for them, pot is already legal in Amsterdam.

With our government health care system we must wear seatbelts, helmets on bikes, lifejackets on PWC because the injuries these prevent lowers our cost in a public health care system. Smoking anything, drinking and drugs of any kind cost us all in taxes to suppoort a "free health care system"

Actually it's not legal in Amsterdam, it's tolerated. Uruguay is the first and only country in the world to make it completely legal.
Just a matter of time for Canada.

It seems their tolerance is diminishing as well.

Ya. Your taxes will pay that also.
