I do get that she assaulted a police officer.
I also understand that a 15 year old girl can pose as much of a risk to your safety as anyone else.(within reason).
Did she need to be forcibly restrained? Yes
Did the officer go about it all wrong? Absolutely. So in this case, excessive force for sure.
Thrown to the floor and handcuffed would of more than sufficed.
Striking her in the head twice was a lapse in controlling anger on the officers behalf.

If I lie to a cop, I get charged... Did you get the point where the cop fabricated evidence to cover his own arse? If the video didn't exist, the fellow beaten would have been dragged through the courts.

Sammy Yatim was the kid shot on the streetcar in Toronto. The cop that shot him was treated - lets say, more fairly than you or I would have been. Put on paid leave, shoved quickly through the courts and now works for crimestoppers. But the TPS swears he has no contact with the public and is heavily restricted.

Yeah, probably did...
I was in Kelowna when Geoff Mantler decided to kick Buddy Tavarez in the face while he was cuffed and down. Newsie caught it on video, it was the kick seen around the world. Again, if there was no video, i'm sure Buddy would have been in jail.

Regardless of the police behavior. If you are black you have a legal right to riot and destroy private property and injure, maim or kill someone if you have a point to make. And no one has any business asking what that point is.
