Default 2018/2019 Maple Leafs Thread...

Not for Leafs fans though...this is more of a rail against TSN...why do they make the ENTIRE COUNTRY endure 15 minutes (out of a 1 hour program - SportsCenter) of Maple Leaf discussion, regardless of whether the Leafs even played the night before??!! One on One discussions...panel discussions, a different panel discussions...Nylander still hasn't signed???!!!! How dare he!! What's that? Matthews has a blister!!?? Good Lord no! How will that impact their playoff...nay...Stanley Cup run...is it on his Stanley Cup ring finger???!! blah blah blah....

SportsNet tends to be better at giving more time to the other teams (I watch them both equally) but still seem to gravitate toward the Leafs.

That said, who (in your opinion) best represents ALL Canadian teams....I like Kelly Hrudey

The only reason Toronto has more pts than Calgary is because they've played more games.

When they're yapping is when I take out the empties, make snacks get another cold one. I didn't know anyone listened to those guys. Don Cherry is still the king.

Don Cherry is way past his prime. I think he is an absolute hockey icon and a big part of Canadiana or our Canadian culture but i hate seeing him hang on this long. I dont want to remember him this way. Hes not all there anymore....

Agreed...he should retire gracefully..he's earned it...the game is changing though.

Yep...TO's definitely parade-bound

Watching Dreger and Mckenzie is pitiful....every time the Leafs are officially out is kind of like watching the Clinton supporters after Trump was elected...and then the inevitable three-month post-mortem

I think other teams fans are the ones saying "plan the parade" Any leafs fan with a brain in their head knows the leafs defence isn't that good. When they have to score 4+ goals a game to win, you know there is problems with the back end

Let us have some fun guys. It’s been a little while.
There’s a reason there are more leaf jerseys in the crowd than the home team when they’re in Alberta. And lots of other places too. Lol
Go leafs

Every bit as frustrating as seeing all those Rider jerseys in McMahon Stadium....but I digress

Love them or hate them, they did our Western teams a big favour by beating the three California teams.

Go Jets!
