IS the pit still frozen solid or is the shore line slowly thawing by now ?
any body ?

20"-24" of ice. I fished it on Sunday.

The first 2 hours were busy..the second 2 hours...SLOW!!!

hey Ace, nice fish.., whats your prediction ?? how soon will the shore line open ? last year I was casting on april 26 , about 20 -40 ft of open water.
this year may take a bit longer ?

I wouldn't be suprised if we're into the first week of May...stupid global warming...maybe end of April if the weather really helps out.

Kennedy...there was lots of action at the lake...it overwintered very well. Most were in the 15"'-17" in range and fairly fat.
