Default Did I choose well?

I hit up the sale at TFH today, looking for a spinning reel. I am mostly a fly fisherman, so my knowledge on spinning gear is not that great. I ended up with a Rapala Vapor reel, and decided to get a Shimano Voltaeus to replace the old ugly stick I was using before. I got it spooled up with 10lb flouro. Does this seem like a decent set up? Most of my spin fishing is going to be at lakes either from shore, or a small zodiac that I don't feel comfortable fly casting out of when there are a few of us in there.

What would you suggest a good way to rig this up would be if I were fishing on say, the Kananaskis lakes?
