Default Muir Lake

I just have a question about Muir lake. How successful is the fishing from that little dock that they have set up? I work close to there and in the mornings I sometimes just drop by for a quick few casts. Are there any other more productive spots from shore at Muir? or is most of the good fishing on the far side near the beaver dam?

There's a beaver dam at Muir? Are you sure it isn't a beaver lodge?

Anyhow, at this time of year the dock might be best unless you are willing to go for a walk to the other end by the island.

I don't know exactly but in the few times I have ever been there anyone I have ever talked to fishing on shore has never had any luck. The spots don't look very productive either having scoped them out from my boat.

Chickakoo has much better shore fishing although catching anything of size is quite unlikely.
