Default Fall Walleye Fishing In Slave Lake.

Is the fishing still good in Slave lake in the fall. Thinking on heading there in the middle of September for one last trip.

It can be hit or miss in the fall. Depends on how well you know the lake, and how committed you are to your preferred technique and known holes.

Getting into fall a good majority of fish head for the west end to their spawning grounds. Although most places in the east basin will be slower, areas like canyon creek will still hold some fish. The bite wont be as good as it is in july, but just like you and I, the fish still need to eat...
