Depending on where in Calgary you live but from the se you cand hit Cvr, mcgregor, pine coulee in an hour. My vote is pine coulee.

It's Alberta....if you were looking for good cactus ...that's different .

Any lake in the fall ,that the launch is in the water , that the Algae

Hasn't choked off the oxygen , and the wind is under 40 clicks

Is good . The fishing is incidental ..

To guarantee fish catch stay away from reservoirs , go north
Pigeon is your best bet .
