Default New PB Walleye!
Got this guy yesterday! Tried handing the rod off to the Boy and the fish peeled a bunch of line and just about had it rip out of his hands.. Lol. He says " all done" lol. So i finished the battle, got the camera and scale ready before he was done pulling, so fish was out of the water for a minimal amount of time. Couldn't resist a quick pic with it in his lap! Was a little surprised by the weight i guessed 9 in the water... This thing was a friggen Tank! Looked more like a Large Mouth Bass! Lol. Got some decent Pike as well! Fish was 30 inches roughly, i didnt have my tape decal on my boat yet

You no for 342 views lol. Comon guys this is a tank regardless of fish handling give a guy a little credit here this is a fish that 95% of all anglers will never catch in a life time here and he's throwin it out there for all of us to enjoy.wow 7 replies.
Congrats on a giant walley thanks for sharing just kicked me in the arse to go catch another fall walley and bust another catch and release eye

It's hard to see from my phone but does that scale read 11lbs ? regardless huge fish!

Lol, yup! The scale was zeroed and i double checked! These photos don't really do her any justice.. That Walleye was a freak! Really footballish, cant get over how fat it was.

This fish was out of the water Maybe 30 sec. Hooked very light right in the Lip, other than loosing a little slime on my kids already wet pants. She Took off no problem.

A side note on the wet pants.. I have seen threads on here about things to do to keep kids occupied on the Boat between fish. bring some beach toys and fill up the live well, little boats and stuff, keeps my boy busy all day! He gets right in there some days..He also is really into my tube jigs and jig bodies.. They are his pet worms.. He has been keeping them for three days.. Lol
