Default walleye huntin with the ladys

Saturday i had a go at muir and got[IMG[/IMG] one measly bite so sunday me ..my gf and lily my daughter thought wed brave the wind and hunt for alberta gold..went good once we figured it all out...cast ontop of the drop off and let it slide down the hill keeping it just off bottom wothout hitting the ground..kinda tricky but we did land nearly 40 walleye n jack ... hope you enjoy

Battle and muir yup ...lol you guys are awesome ..nuttin slips past yas .. the big trout at muir are cruisin shallows eating good sized minnows ...like right up on shore in the weeds ...all i had was bugs to throw but there are some gooders in there to be had

If the rainbows are in shallow looking for some meat try casting some micro jigs, one inch tube jigs, twister tail or my favorite the berkley powerbait nymphs on a jighead. The olive color, orange and pink work well. Work them as slow as you can with constant small jerks. That pulsing through the water knocks em dead!

Yes no bait ban and some wose trout from my experiences with troit mind you this was my first time ON the lake i only ever casted a few times from the pier...ill definately be back...i was impressed
