Hit the river early, ok 7 am but early enough for me. Had a fat silver redhorse before I could sit down. after that it was suckers pretty much non stop, caught 1 shorthead redhorse, two white suckers, 17 or 18 big Silver redhorse, and one sturgeon only 30-32 inches but still great after the long winter. River needs to come up 3-4 more feet to get them in the mood I think, but hopefully that wont take long. Rain was showing up with the wind so I packed up at noon, still a great first of the season! Got to watch a couple of the biggest otters Ive ever seen swim by too.

North sask by Lloyd is still plenty high and dirty, will hive it a try Sunday morning.

That’s really cool. I really need to get out to the river and try that sometime. I’ve never caught one. Someday.
