Default Central air purifiers

I need something bad. Do I buy individual air purifiers or central furnace systems?
If you have any experiences with whole house systems I would love to here from you. Do they work? Worth the money? or would you put several portable models around the house?
Thanks for the help.

Depends on how much you want purified and how pure. A stand alone machine works wonders but it costs. I run two of these in my house, but I have medical issues.
Pick your application.

I run two in a 1000 sq ft house. Seems to me years ago the claimed on could scrub a 625 sq ft area. The filters last about three years for me.

Default Air filters

Guys the easiest thing to do is buy different filters from 3M for your furnace for different applications. The best filter is activated charcoal that removes all the smoke from forest fires. Just set your furnace fan on recycle.
