Strike indicator? Where I come from they call that "bobber fishing"!

Homemade bobber for me....Cut a wine cork, file it round, paint orange/pink. I've done this for 20 yr...great floatation

Head further downsteam,,, use a 3 inch silver/blue, non-jointed, floating rapala and tie a 1 inch fluffy bright red feather to the tail end hook. Look for smooth water amongst the heavier flow and cast above it and jerk reel it thru the flat spot. Also try 5 thru sundown plus an hour.

glad to see there are still guys out there that call a spade a spade. a bobber is defined as "a fishing float or cork" no fancy names here. scud, would love to see a picture of the ones you make. thanks.

i havent wadded the bow and do just fine right off shore. i got a pair of waders form wallyworld for liek 5 bucks now cant wait to hammer sumer browns on tha banks this year
