Question Hi-Vis Parachute Post Material

I was curious what is the best material I can use for creating a hi-vis post on my parachute flies. I Was hoping for non traditional fly tying stuff since I have been having a tough time finding the actual material.

I would like it to be pink or chartreuse so maybe something white and then the means to dye it? (is there such thing as a waterproof highlighter?)

I got some MyFly Foam from the Cabelas Bargain Cave thinking that is what it was for at the time, but it seems it is for making "egg" patterns and can really soak up the water so might not be the best idea for a dry fly.

I appreciate the suggestions.

Antron yarn, poly yarn, S-Lon, Z-Lon, calf tail,
Fluorescent pink, white, black, chartreuse.

Almost any yarn. You'll be putting floatant on it anyways.

Sweet, seems a lot easier than I thought to find.

And just so I can add it to the knowledge bank, when would you want to use black for visibility over a different colour?

Sometimes in the evening, black will show up better than anything else.

You can also use some strips of sheet foam tied as a post. Lots of colors to chose from
