Default will a nearby kayak scare the duck away?

Got a dozen duck decors and a blind. Now the question is "will a nearby kayak scare the duck away"???? How far should I dock my kayak away from the decors if true? It's a kayak with the bright orange color.

Yes IME (in an area frequently hunted from the water). You should cover it.

Is it enough to cover it with a camouflage cloth sheet according to your experience? thank you!

Covering it makes a big difference but I never found the perfect solution.

I have a bright orange kayak that I painted camo and even that will spook them off if sitting out in open water. I found wearing camo and wedging into the reeds a little bit worked great.
