Post Red Deer River fishing: "Trenville Park"

The action today was decent. Started fishing in the early afternoon until about 6. Caught lots of Goldeye (Largest almost 2lbs). Had some Sauger and Walleye follow up and nibble, but no takers. Hooked on to something huge, thought it was a rock at first, but rocks don't swim upstream , never caught a look at it but showed me the potential of that spot. Mainly used the 6" live pike by storm, and a lure I picked up in south dakota, called "jakes lure".
