Head up this way and we'll hook you up!

Or better yet come join the boys and girls event this winter!

I don't put too much faith into their forecasts....last year was supposed to be terrible...lots of snow and colder than average. Turned out to be a reasonably decent winter and not nearly as bad as predicted.

The fact is they can't properly predict what's going to happen a week from now...I don't put a lot of faith in the really long term forecasts.

We'll get what what we get and deal with whatever the weather gods send our way.

Come out with me and some friends this winter and slam some perch or brookies.

We have plenty of gear and all you would need is your warm clothes and whatever you want to eat and drink that day.

Now I am not liking THIS UGLY WHITE INSULATION one bit! Dang Farmer's Almanac is starting out with a bang-on prediction this year. This snow is going to really impede the freeze.

Snow is good for:

1. Snow removal companies
2. Snowmobilers and skiers
3. Auto body shops

etc. etc.

... but not for ice-fisher-people!!! Ahhhh!!

They are calling for 40cm worth of snow here in Lethbridge by Saturday.

The freezing rain today has made the roads real nasty and with the snow covering it now makes it as slick as a skating rink.

Got a good dump in cowtown.

Canoe is covered. That's what I get for my optimism.
