Default Ice Fishing Report - Nov 3, 2012

Jealousy got the better of me, I had to get out and check on one of the local trout ponds about an hour and a half from Edmonton. I got to the lake and several holes had already been drilled close to shore. Fished for about 3 hours and managed to get 3 nice Rainbows on to the ice, had a couple more break me off. Ice was about 3.5”. Thankfully I didn't end up going for a swim.

Ice is probly less than 3 " now, After two days of plus 5 or better.

Very nice bows. Which direction from Edmonton? Just thinking of the ice thickness where I want to go on Monday.

These were caught an 1 1/2 hours northeast of Edmonton. With all the warm weather we've had these past couple days the ice will be a little sketchy. Hopefully I can get out again this week. Good luck and be safe.

Probly the same place I want to go this weekend. Sounds like it anyways. If you go again PM me on Ice conditions or post them here. Wouldn't mind hitting the pond on Sunday / Monday.

Those fish don't look like they're hurting. Nice and healthy!
