Fishing In the Bahamas

I am heading to the Bahamas in a few days for a 10 day stay. I was wondering if anyone has fished there recently and could recommend a good charter. Not sure if one should bottom fish or blue water fish. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you

I was just there but fly fished from shore. I've done a couple charters off paradise island before for reef fish and did well.

I've fished Crooked and Acklins on two separate occasions, but that's well off the beaten path and not likely where you're headed.

What were you hoping to get into?

Here in the Bahamas. Staying on Paradise island, talking with the local folks will try blue water fishing. Will hire a private charter and go for a day thanks to both you folks on the replies.

Don't get conned in to a Bonefish charter by a guide called Bonefish Foley.
At this time of year, there won't be many Bonefish around as they migrate out of that area.. but the Guides will still take you're money. I still have the T-shirt .
