Sounds like Kane is starting to be a negative in the dressing room. Scuttlebut is many are clashing with him and not just Drai and Perry. Perry really went off on Kane last game and past team mates said he must of been very ticked off so maybe building problems.

His slash on Hunt netting the max $5000 fine. I just don’t get what’s going through players mind when they intentionally try to hurt another guy. Just not right.

Kane has so much skill and ability to contribute but personality wise it may be true as to why his last team ditched him.

Hope it doesn’t take away from team dynamics. Oilers don’t need that now and certainly doesn’t need players taking stupid penalties.

That one Draisaitl took was pretty blatant as well, it's not just Kane. It isn't the first time for him either.

Not to nitpick, but I think that's actually his last 3 teams.

LOL, Anderson's dive on that "slash" was comical. How he didn't get an even up penalty is beyond me. That was just embarrassing...

I do agree on Draisaitl having a penchant for taking selfish penalties though, drives me nuts...

Did Anderson not get up holding the wrong leg?

No. I watch the clip. With his free hand he tried to reach around to his opposite leg while on his knee and couldn’t reach.

He lightly tapped Drai and he returned with a two handed whack. If anyone embellished it was Drai.

Maybe we didn't watch the same clip.

Grown men don't fly into the air like they've been shot while doing some kind of a bizarre arm clutching motion when they get a little whack on the leg.

You're either joking, or your unabashed love for the Flames is blinding you to reality...

Solid from end to end, put up 5 without the leader, 1 little blip on the radar when they gave up a shorty, they played hard and didn't take a penalty, not sure when the last time was they went penalty free for a whole game.

Sadly, probably not. Cap issues and exposing players to the waiver wire makes it really tough to keep him with the big club.

I suspect he gets sent back down as soon as McDavid is good to go.

I think he'll be back up for the playoffs though, and if he can just stay healthy, I think he's playing really solid minutes in the middle 6 next season.

Vancouver won. But barely. This is with 50% of Edmonton’s team missing.
Wait till we play full strength!

The Oilers want the Kings first round. Will win in 5. Canuks and Knights will go 7 games. It’s a strategy. No different than Stones season ending injuries with the remarkable playoff recovery.

No point going full out and risking injuries and not resting injuries if you don’t need to.

So long as they keep their collectives heads in the team game and collapse.

I just hate Jesus sitting at 99 assists.
I also hate the way Vegas abuses injury protocols.

They don’t abuse just play within the rules….which may change over time but ya gotta admit the game within the game sure makes a difference.

It’s abuse. Not against the rules. The stipulation was not intended to be used that way. Legal yes. Ethical no.

I feel it's flat out cheating and hope the rules are changed soon, maybe a cap per game system.

Yes for sure, the league knows they screwed up when they left that loop hole open, TB was the first to abuse it and LV has now taken it to a new level, it will no doubt be fixed at the next CBA but until then it is what it is, there is virtually no cap during the playoffs.
