Question Lac St. Anne

Anyone fished lac st. anne lately? Taking the kids out to (hopefully) catch some walleye on saturday and was wondering if anyone has any info? Only spent an hour on this lake before by birds##t island, so i'm totally lost on where to fish it.Want the kids to have a good time and get interested in fishing, so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

I've had good luck on the west side of bird###t island. Other fellas told me that they had good luck in a) the narrows before the bridge, b) on the east side of the island on the other side of the narrows, and c) along the edge of any weeds that has a bit of a drop off. There are lots of fish in that lake if you can find a good spot. A jig with a minnow in about 15 feet of water works fine for me.

Also can try the rock piles of the pentecostal camp. Had lots of luck there earlier on the year. White 4" jig on a 1/4oz head
