the walleye and the pike Ive caught out of there this summer are much fatter than they were last year

i couldnt believe it the first time i saw it. it actually still seems odd. i wish they could talk so they could tell us why they jump like that.

back down tonight for a while, managed 3 different kinds of eyes in 3 casts, moon gold and wall. couple very good sized goldeye, just average mooneyes, and a small walleye. had a beaver try and push me off my spot, but Ive dealt with scarier and hairier beavers before, didnt work  anyone ever caught a goldeye with pink fins? got a pic just havent uploaded it yet, maybe its the rare "pinkeye"?
