Default "Top Hookers" on Discovery channel.

Anyone watching the show "Top Hookers" on the Discovery channel? It is a fishing challenge/competition show of some kind. I just noticed it is on right now (10:30pm xmas day) and is running until 6 am tomorrow. Looks like a interesting show so far.

I watched episode 1 and recorded the rest. Interesting challenges. Good for entertainment on cold winter days and nights.

After watching most of the episodes it was a pretty good show. A good competition.

It would be fun to have an event like that in Alberta. Different challenges on different weekends on different water throughout the year. Final challenge could be bare minimum ice fishing. Lakes and streams and rivers and reservoirs. Mountain to badland prairies to parkland to muskeg to boreal forest waters and fish. Have some skill contests first to qualify.
Get Cabela's ,Wholesale Sports, GoPro cameras and an auto giant to donate the gear and prizes. Maybe AO for a media?

Something like AO presents... Alberta's Big Snag Fishin' Competition.

Who's in?

Agreed !!!

They could be issued a temperamental old jiffy auger to try and start ..... tie up a leader with frozen hands and have an event where you have to run from tip up to tip up ....

I saw it listed on the channel guide so flipped on to it and some people were bobbing their heads in glass tanks trying to grab minnows or baitfish in their mouths pull their head out and spit them in a little bucket or tank. Like they were bobbing for apples. I thought WTF..... and switched the channel.
