Default gopher permission near calgary

Hi all, probably gonna get razzed for this one, but are there any land owners in the Calgary area that will allow a responsible, licensed guy and his buddy on their land to clean up some gophers?

Cheers

There are tons of em. You just have to go find them. Don't be afraid to knock on a few doors. Drive out of the city till you see some promising pasture, go up to the nearest house and ask. The worst they can do is say no!

Lately i have found more success gaining permission when i am using my airgun. Landowners like the fact that its quieter. I shoot on acreage land west of Stony Plain where neighbouring houses are close by. My Benjamin Sheridan Super Streak pushes a .177 cal pellet at 1500fps but does it quieter than a .22lr but just as destructive and frankly more fun than a rimfire.

I don't know about that, I find a BANG much more satisfying than a 'whiff'

1500fps is pretty fast!!!
What did that thing cost you??
I've got a 1000fps that will kill quite well too tho choice of pellets makes a huge difference on accurracy.
I've been a hollow point type and they seem the most consistant....
