I've been out lots the past few weeks, and I don't know that I've ever seen LSL so awesome for walleye, its been fantastic.

I was out on slave lake this long weekend too with a few buddies. Walleye were streaky but the bite was pretty good - mostly in the 40 to 50cm range. a few jacks, one burbot and one white. Slept on the ice under truck canopy Saturday night - pretty much a blizzard! didn't see that coming but spirits were high! So happy to get out there!

We managed 20 keeper walleye over the weekend at Joussard and a half a dozen thrown back. The pike we got were all small.

It was a weird bite though... they would bite for about an hour or two in the morning, and then again like crazy between 3pm and 5pm.

Pretty standard walleye bite when not fishing deeper water.
You guys must have had quite the crew out there to keep 20 walleye!!

Ya there were 7 of us out there for a fewdays.

Our shacks were in about 20-22' of water roughly. Seen a monster perch come by on the camera one day, but it was a lone ranger and the only one that we seen the entire time. Made me wanna drill a few holes a bit shallower and try and get into some of those footballs.... maybe next time.
