Default we got four species in one evening

Had a fantastic evening out at the cabin tonight. Went out with my father and my twin girls and the neighbor boy Will.

Its not often that we can get four different species in one evening in a 20 ft radius, but we got er done tonight!

We started off with Will catching the first small pike, then I got two more hammer handles, then - surprise! A perch!

Next was a burb my dad caught:

A couple more small pike, then my daughter Ali hooked, reeled up and pulled this 4.13 lb pike out all by herself, no assistance from anyone!

Then just as it was getting dark, dad pulled a really decent walleye up:

note: the big pike, burb and walleye were all caught out of the shack.

Pretty cool for an evening out on the lake. Alas, my Emily got completely shut out tonight, only had one nibble - pretty rare for her, she usually outfishes everyone.

Book a cabin with Reel Time Ventures and you just never know what you'll catch!

And you'll get to enjoy sunsets like this:

Was a great evening.

Congrats on a great day on the ice. Tell Emily she'll get them next time.

Gotta love multi-species. It was a nice night. I skipped out of work early for an evening fish myself yesterday and iced quite a few.

Haha, thanks, but I can't feel too bad for Emily - earlier this winter she caught 11 fish to my one! She's quite the little fisher, but she just didn't have it that evening!
