WMU 108 Antlered Muley
Any other P6 NOT get awarded in WMU 108? never heard of any P6's getting denied. Just curious as I am totally surprised.

There were 225 P5 applicants last year that were unsuccessful. 114 tags issued. So if they all put in this year half will draw and half will not as P6's.

Now don't go and bring logic into this!

P3
Yes checked Alberta relm for stats for draw last year but the yaha is too far and dead now and not interested in suffield or southern Alberta. Close to home lots of time to pre scout so it's where I knew I would be drawn. Wasn't expecting the wife too as well but that was my fault for not realizing group vs partner but I expect we have a challenge ahead to fill the tags. Still looking forward to it seen some big bulls come out of Blackfoot.

No tags what can I hunt?
So I didn't get drawn for any tags I applied for. Really want to start hunting this year, any suggestions?

Chase whitetails, ducks, geese, mule deer in some zones! Find a zone with general elk! Tons of options in this beautiful province if you are willing to work for it! Good luck and remember to enjoy the entire hunt, whether you get something or not

I'd have no problem with .270, but I would go to a 150 Nosler partition. Don't forget, millions of bison were taken with the old 45-70 Henry's.
Take a look at the average energy of the two. The .270 is almost double that of the 45-70, with much better ballistics.

Go for it and good luck!

There are over the counter tags for some species, and there will be undersubscribed tags available. It's time to look at the regulations and see what general tags are available where you want to hunt, and then when the undersubscribed tags are announced, have a look.

45-70 Sharps, Springfield or Remington perhaps, but 45-70 Henry rifles?

I thought archery sheep was a sure thing. Turns out it wasn't. So it's general tags for me, and more time for birds...which will make for one very happy dog!

there are always general tags or supplemental that you can buy and hunt. Well, I guess if it's whitetail that you're after.

What priority? I got robbed.
Good luck man, probably the last good season we will see in that zone. Won't be shocked if they extend the season into December

Thought we would get some draws based on last years results but didnt. Should be no surprise however. Most things are taking longer and longer due to the large increase in draw applicants that insist on applying for everything. Draw it, then ask AO what it even looks like.

Welp, lost my priority points I needed to get a moose close to home, either I jumbled up the number while applying or the system made a mistake but I got awarded a moose tag in a far off wmu ill never have a chance to hunt and now have to wait a couple extra years. Any one have any luck fixing a similar situation?
