Default best addition of hunting/shooting gear?

Ok so whats the best piece of shooting/hunting gear have you added to your kit this year?

Mine has been a rifle stock I made that fits my spotting scope. cant post pics right now but it has attachments to fix it to a tripod or window clamp. with a solid body and cheek weld I have found it to far steadier for long stretches of glassing/spotting. My stock has a short forend with full stock( currently working on an adjustable LOP / skeletal model ).
And a homemade spin off of a vickers combat sling for carrying the 45-70 and 30-30 while hunting the thick timber.

Whats your latest and greatest addition?

Best addition for 'this year', but still untested would be the the new pack frame: http://www.slumberjack.com/p-631-rail-hauler-frame.aspx

Getting too old to pack those timber bucks out whole.

Mine would be a 1977 vintage swiss army backpack. Basically new, was just left in a box over the years. All leather and rubberized.

I think for a multi-purpose tool, that noodle has got to be tops. Kudos to the fellow for ingenuity.

Although I acquired the original tri-pod system more than a year ago, it has to be my Bullseye Long Range camera shooting system. This year, I've upgraded it to the AmmoCam system and included the base unit for good signal reception at longer range.

Default Bushnell fusion 1 mile binoculars/rangefinder

Picked these up , glass is good and I've ranged 1850 yards on reflective target and ranged 1000 yards on game . Price was not crazy like some other ones that range the same distance . The cost was 1200$ , oh they also show me the moa to dial in my scope .

Man, I bought alot of gear in the last 12 months. Think I would have to go with my Wiggy's Hunter Antarctic sleeping bags. Thanks Tundra Monkey!

New addition this year is packoutbags. In past years I have hunted with a pack w meat shelf. Has worked great but always seemed a bit big/ heavy for the day hunts i typically, but packing out elk from thick brush is no joke. so after the last 4 years and 4 blackouts I decided to try something different..packoutbags allow me to go much lighter and still give me the ability to pack quarters out without additional trips. I have been using them this summer packing sand bags and can carry more weight than in a traditional meat hauling pack( horn hunter full curl in my case) instead of the full pack I wear a small drop leg pack that holds all my neccessary gear along with my bino harness and the folded up packoutbag on my belt in the small of my back. The packoutbags when folded are just too big to fit in a cargo pant pocket, but large enough to carry 2 full quarters quite comfortably ( I practice w 150lbs total for 2km walks on our gravel road)
I'll likely keep the pack in the truck but am looking forward to trying this new system out. I bought them online from the states last dec for 99$usd and it took 12 days to receive them in the mail. I'll try to remember to post a review on how well they work in field conditions.
