Talking Dingy Fishing the Shuswap

Took out a blue club 200 dingy out on the first dock in the area of canoe. Very good place to fish. Lots of squawfish and a few trout. Out from the dock about 10 ft., and im just reeling in and boom boom boom!, something bit it hard, and then i lost it, and then it did it again, relly hard. Turned out it was a 5 inch baby squawfish It was still really fun!!

Them char are pretty easy to catch. They love leech patterns near the bottom. Good for you on the rainbows. Sounds like your making the best of it. Rick.
