Default Lesser Slave Lake

Is the ice off Lesser Slave Lake yet? I suspect it probably is but would like confirmation. Thanks in advance.

Default Lesser slave

How far below the river is the lake open this time of year. Reading the regs wrong maybe but is it closed still ? Or is half the lake open?

East half is open. Up by Grouard and Shaw's point I think is closed.

Spent the week end at Norms Walleye camp on the east end. Ice is flowing hard and heavy, awesome sight! River jams up, then breaks loose.

Saw a moron standing on a large piece of ice floating down the river.

Some pike were caught in the river between Norms and the lake. Didn't see anyone bringing in any walleye. If the wind continues from the west the ice should be out in about 5 days.

The wind blew hard at Faust today and the lake looks
Clear from Driftpile to Spruce Point. I'll be fishing tomorrow.

Superuke ... were there any reports of someone going missing or being drowned. Hard to believe some people can be so stupid.
