Default Grande Cache to Hinton ??? help

Good day all!

Taking the boys to the Forestry Trunk Road between Grande Cache and Hinton this weekend.

I have always fished the Eastern Slopes streams and rivers between Panther River and North up to Rocky area.

This is all NEW area to me. Any advice is appreciated. I guess even lake shore fishing would work if there are any decent areas since my boat is out of commission.

Thanks in advance!
Don

Check your regs. Only open river is the Berland downstream of highway 40 and a couple of lakes which are not found on the Trunk road.

You could hit the lakes in Switzer for pike, Rock lake for lakers and pike, or Pierre Greys for stoker rainbows and brooks. The area is much better for fishing in late July after runoff.
