If you thought wrist torque was a concern with a bow, wait till you shoot that thing!

Looks like a riot though, Would be fun in a gopher field.

I've been on this guys you tube channel before. I like him. To tell you the truth..................I love it..................a lot. Lots of similarities with a trad bow. If one could get proficient with it, one could hunt with it.

Probably more than a bow with a 40lb. draw.

Gotta love an Ugly Cookie with a handle huh...lol no drop aways here ha ha

Would be fun to hunt with as mentioned...but the only issue is it would never be legal as an authorised bow...

Neil, what am I missing. Does it not meat the requirements?

An authorized bow is one that is held, drawn and released by muscular power and has a draw weight of not less than 18 kg (40 lb.). This is the number of kilograms (pounds) required to draw an arrow of 71 cm (28 in.) to its head. An authorized arrow is one that is not less than 61 cm (24 in.) in length that has a tip that bears a head that is not intentionally designed to resist being withdrawn after it has penetrated an object. Furthermore, it must either have a solid, sharp cutting head of at least 7/8 inch in width, or a head that, when the arrow impacts, opens to present sharp cutting edges at least 7/8 inch in width.

That Hunting reg description of a bow is vague at very best...

Fact is it would never be classified as a bow in any department or Facilty of Archery...its a slingshot..

as is a speargun ...a speargun...a crossbow ...a crossbow...a slingshot ..a slingshot...all can shoot arrows but they are not classified as a bow...

Not being negitive...just stating facts

Neil
