I'm heading there this weekend. I love this lake and Carol and the gang at the lodge are awesome people to deal with. The largest walleye that was caught at Winefred that I know of was 14 lbs by the lodge manager Carol, she has a picture of the Bute when you check into the lodge. By far my favorite fishing lake.
Yep, a fair amount. the two biggest were both 27" fish, both around 7 lbs. i'm a walleye guy, but the Pike fishing was just to good to give up, so we jus focused on targeting big Pike.

Great trip! I worked at Winefred for a summer back in '93 and there were some big fish caught there, but you guys had a pretty succesful trip I'd say. The biggest pike I caught in four months there was 17lbs..
New owners there since then, I'd like to go back sometime and take my boys. Man I filleted some fish that summer!
