Default Carson Pegasus (little McLeod)

I have the in-laws in town and we are headed out to the farm but it looks like the Pembina River isn't open yet and the father in law wants to go fishing... Can anyone tell me if Carson Pegasus Lake is open...? The regs are unclear as to what lake is which and only talk about pike?

Ay help would be great...?

Thanks a bunch

Carson lake is open year round. Pegasus lake Little McLeod should be open now but you should check regulations. You can find the regulations on line

I have checked the regs.... It just seems that it's not clear as to which lake it is... I'm guessing Carson with stalked rainbows is open year round?

Carson aka McLeod is open all year. Pegasus aka Little McLeod has restrictions. It is a little confusing to find with the names. Most call them Carson or Pegasus but the are McLeod and little McLeod in the regulations.

Little McLeod (Pegasus) Lake
May 15 to Mar. 31 – Pike limit 1 over 63 cm; Lake Whitefish limit 10.
Apr. 1 to May 14 – CLOSED
