Question Netting on Pigeon

Was wondering if anyone has heard how the commercial pull went for the boys pulling their nets today? We were out but never went over to ask!! To busy getting skunked again i guess.

Only 1-3 walleye were taken in the first pull of 100 nets...total.

Nets were running about a 90 whitefish average per at about 3ish lbs

Fish and wildlife was monitoring the activity and did an excellent job in doing so.

Good to here, most of the guys were pulling em out in the deep stuff of the main basin this am. Just looked very different to see 6 vehicles heading out that deep before sun-up this morning.took me awhile to figure out what was going on!!

Yup, there was a depth regulation and you had to be 1 mile off of shore I believe...from all accounts with the increased size in the nets and the depth it was a perfect commercial pull.

I hope it will help the overall population of the other species as it is starting to get out of control.

Based on what I seen 25ft of water would be a good start.
