Question Pine coulee

Planning a trip out this weekend, was wondering if anyone has been out to pine coulee lately? Hows the ice and the fishing? Just looking to go out and enjoy the day! A fish or two would be great but even a bite or two will do. Thanks

Thumbs up

Never been. Know people are catching burbs there and small eyes.

Mostly wanted to say I LOVE YOUR ATTITUDE AND OUTLOOK.

For that you'll probably have a great day. Good luck.

I haven't been lately but 50 feet from the boat launch in 16-22 FOW and you should do fine. If you're looking for a good bite, wait and go in the afternoon and fish from about 3pm - 9 pm. 3-7 good for eyes and 7-9 for for burbs. Jig head and minnow or chunck of smelt, I prefer green or glo.

I heard NiceMustang caught them all and there are no fish left in there.

HAHA...nope! I've only been once. 12 eyes and 15 burbs, kept a few burbs and it was too much to eat!

The tip is just general walleye and burb prime action time.

Just jokin buddy!! It would be pretty hard to catch em all.. I have good luck on the walleye all day on the other side of the lake by the little dam. I like watching 5 or 6 of em circle around my jig in about 10fow. Never seen a ling there though. Just drive straight across the lake from the boat launch. Ice should be good but don't take my word for it...
