Fur is prime and not the least springy. I take them right until end of March and haven't had quality issues. Seeing as it stays winter in that high country until end of April I'm not surprised.
I've take five so far this winter and now that the money fur seasons are mostly over I hope to get a few more. I bought some Bridger #5's for a try and had two snapped traps on my first run from one nights snow drift, not impressed. #9's jump up right through that crust.
Way off on your location by a 100 km, comeau isn't on my trapline and pine ridge should be called cutblock ridge. Besides you can't tell location by the colour but nice try. LOL

Wolves down
I haven't got a wolf in 2 years now but I'm going to change locations next year. Can't catch them if they aren't there. I want to take Gordy's course but always here of it after the fact.
